ALC Women's Retreat

Saturday, September 28th

8:30am - 4:00pm

Registration for the retreat closes Wednesday, September 11th.

In both the Old and New Testaments, we learn about diverse women who encountered God's enduring love and unwavering grace. Join us for a day of delving into the experiences of these women with God's grace and how we can embrace that same grace in the present day.

Through compelling stories, we will explore the lives of women such as Ruth, whose loyalty and faithfulness led to her becoming an ancestor of King David.  We will also reflect on the courage of Esther, who risked her life to save her people, and several New Testament women who were changed by encounters with Jesus Christ.

Our journey will include insightful discussions, prayer time, and opportunities for personal reflection. We will examine the cultural contexts these women lived in and how their experiences are relevant to our lives today. By understanding their stories, we can draw strength and inspiration to face our own challenges, trusting in the same divine grace that guided them.

Whether you are new to these stories or have studied them before, this day promises to be enriching and uplifting. Together, we will celebrate the timeless truths of faith, hope, and love, and discover how God's grace continues to work in our lives, empowering us to be vessels of His love in the world.

Come with an open heart and a desire to grow and leave with a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper understanding of the divine grace that connects us all.
